Moxy Hotel
Social App

Inspired by Moxy SOCIAL SUNDAYS, an event concept I originally branded during my internship at Cummins & Partners, this project explores how that social identity could evolve into a digital product experience.

01 DISCOVER

The home experience brings Moxy's events and social activities into focus, giving guests an easy way to see what's happening and decide what they want to join.

02 BOOK
Guests currently need to navigate the website to explore venue options and make a booking. Bringing the experience into the app creates a smoother, more accessible path.

03 AI Prototype
Version 01
The first iteration shows the full event information with quick actions inside the bar. However, the lack of visuals and easily activated participant controls could lead to accidental changes.
Version 02
The second iteration blends Marriott’s visual language with Moxy’s playful personality, using dedicated imagery to make the experience feel more recognizable and on-brand.
Version 03
The third iteration keeps the brand language while removing unnecessary icons for a cleaner, more straightforward interface. New interactions let users learn more, share events with friends, and save them for later.
04 Future
From concept to a more complete social experience.
The next iteration would focus on bringing more of the experience to life, validating the core flows, and refining the product based on how guests actually use it.
01 / ANIMATE
Make connection more playful.
Add animation to Social Starters to make the prompts feel more engaging and approachable, encouraging guests to interact and break the ice.
02 / INTERACT
Make Explore Moxy more discoverable.
Introduce interactions to the Explore Moxy section, allowing guests to actively explore hotel spaces, events, and experiences.
03 / PROTOTYPE
Make booking ready to test.
Prototype the booking window as a functional flow, testing how quickly guests can move from discovering a venue to confirming their booking.
04 / TEST
Design with real guest behavior in mind.
Conduct user testing with potential guests to evaluate event discovery, social starters, and the booking experience. Use their feedback to identify friction points and guide the next round of design decisions.
